In addition to her systems work, Dr. Starks is deeply committed to building with social workers and emerging leaders across the globe. From supporting students at the bachelor’s level through doctoral education, she mentors and guides the next generation of professionals through their academic journey, professional development, leadership growth, and career advancement. Her work focuses on helping social workers move from education to impact—turning their passion into meaningful practice, leadership, and innovation.
